HP OpenVMS Engineering is pleased to announce the availability of
Distributed NetBeans T1.1 (FT3).  Distributed NetBeans allows you to 
use
the popular NetBeans open-source integrated development 
environment to
develop and maintain OpenVMS applications from a non-OpenVMS 
desktop,
such as Windows, HP-UX, Linux, or Mac OS. 

Distributed NetBeans supports Java, C/C++, Fortran, Cobol, and Pascal
development, including syntax coloring in the editor, source formatting,
remote execution, and compiler error parsing.  There's also built-in
support for remote execution of DCL command procedures, MMS files 
(with
target selection), BASH shell scripts, and support for access to remote
CMS libraries.
