Dear Distribution Lists,

Normally I do not forward just job information but these folks are
serious and have already hired four folks from the original message I
sent out. And I like the fact that they got back to me and let me know
that they needed more people, how cool is that. 
They are obviously moving a head with Oracle and continuing with VMS.
Of course I am partial and think that just about everyone I know fits
the job description.  If they need 10 people makes me wonder how big 
the

Job Description: 

Our client is requesting 10 VAX/COBOL consultants to augment their
development team. The candidates should be seasoned developers 
with the
ability to work independently within a team environment. They must
possess astute judgment, and be able to ask for assistance when
required. The candidate should be able to follow set protocol and
structured methodologies. They must also have excellent written and
verbal communication skills. 

 

Technical Requirements: 

Required: VAX / Alpha, Open VMS, COBOL, RMS, DCL, 

Preferred: PL/SQL

Operating systems: DB2, VMS

Company Objective: Migrate information from legacy systems to Oracle.

Location: Carlsbad CA 

Rate: $45/hour
 
We Also need 2 Business analysts with the same skillset.  Same 
Location
except the pay rate is pretty much open.  They will match the salary
requirements as long as the resume is good.
