Dear Folks,

Please note that HP is pleased to announce OpenVMS V8.2-1. Due to
customer demand, we accelerated the availability of support for our
mid-range and high end HP Integrity servers by almost a year.  In
addition to the entry-class HP Integrity rx1620, rx2620, and rx4640
Servers, OpenVMS version 8.2-1 for HP Integrity servers adds OpenVMS 
to
the cell-based Integrity servers to include the HP Integrity Superdome,
rx8620, and rx7620 Servers.  With today's announcement, OpenVMS 
with
enhanced virtualization capabilities also now supports mixed
architecture clusters of up to as many as 96 nodes on HP Integrity
servers, AlphaServer systems, or both.  This allows for enhanced TCO 
and
greater investment protection by capitalizing on the multi-OS
capabilities of HP Integrity servers
