Great announcement from SAS.  SAS is an excellent partner.Sue ------------------------ SAS continues its market leadership position of offering customers a wide variety of computing platforms by delivering the SASŽ 9.2 Foundation products on OpenVMS for HP Integrity Servers.  SAS 9.2 supports twelve unique computing environments, including the HP OpenVMS Version 8.3 operating system for the HP Integrity server platform.  Beginning with SAS 9.2, the OpenVMS on Itanium support replaces OpenVMS Alpha platform.  OpenVMS on Alpha with SAS 9.1.3 will be supported in accordance with the license agreement and Technical Support policies for non-current releases of SAS software. These policies may be found at http://support.sas.com/techsup/support.html#non_current  The HP OpenVMS Version 8.3 operating system for the Integrity server platform provides users with proven stability for mission critical applications across vertical industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, telecommunications, and other government agencies where system scalability and reliability are not only critical to the business but also required as human life could be endangered due to a system crash.
