Dear Distribution Lists,

This message contains a lot of information for your use, please hold
onto this message.

Disclaimer about the jobs section. I occasionally get jobs and will send
them out, I do not work in a hiring capacity in HP and only have this
information because it matters to me that my friends have jobs.

In case you are wondering, I usually use plain text for the folks that do
not use windows based email since the email distribution lists are so
broad.

Warm Regards,
Sue

I told you to stay tuned -- SRI announces today that you can now
replace your VAX 6610, 6620, and 6630's with CHARON-VAX. Details:

    http://www.softresint.com/charon-vax/CHVX_66xx.htm

My web page is being updated, and is at:

    http://www.stanq.com/charon-vax.html

The 6630 product on a quad AMD Opteron will yield about ~230 VUPs.

Another Mixed cluster example from Colin Butcher

From: Colin Butcher [mailto:colin.butcher at xdelta.co.uk]
Subject: Clustering rules OK!
Hi Sue,
This isn't supported, but so what. VAX 4000-100 is also using a
Nemonix fast ethernet board at 100Mbit/sec full-duplex. This is part of
the demo I'm setting up for the 16th at Nic Clews' CSC location. Mr.
Foddy will be there too. Cheers, Colin.
