I wanted to drop a note to announce the availability of PROMIS v5.7.2,
on Itanium (both OpenVMS and HP-UX platforms). 
We have released this version of PROMIS for immediate distribution, 
just
this week. 

I'd like to thank you for your assistance in making this happen. 
Certainly it would not have been possible without the Itanium servers
that HP made available to us, and the support and assistance you have
given us.

It is extremely important for a legacy product, like PROMIS, to continue
to make improvements, both functionally and technologically, to ensure
our continued credibility in the market place and within our customer
base.

Excerpt from our release notice... 

Some important notes about this release: 

Client applications compatible with the PROMIS v5.7.2 suite release, are
compatible with PROMIS v5.7.2 for Itanium (SPC GUI v5.7.2, 
Performance
for PROMIS v2.0.3, Composer v5.7.2 and @PROMIS v5.7.2).  The same
hardware configurations and third party software configurations have
been used for this release as the v5.7.2 PROMIS Suite release, except
where specific versions were required for Itanium.  This is reflected in
the documentation. 
The upcoming @PROMIS v5.7.2.1 release will be compatible with both
PROMIS v5.7.2 and PROMIS v5.7.2 for Itanium.
