Today's announcement is addressing critical customer needs - downtime
and recovery and reliable, low cost solutions.


The latest offerings: 


Enhanced> HP StorageWorks Fast Recovery Solution
Enables the instant recovery of Microsoft Exchange 2003 databases.
Perfect for environments that require the highest level of availability,
FRS is designed to allow application administrators to utilize the
automated disaster recovery technologies built into HP StorageWorks 
Disk
Arrays systems, without extensive storage training. FRS keeps 
businesses
up and running by recovering corrupt databases in minutes, rather than
the hours typically required for a conventional restore from tape. 



New> HP StorageWorks DAT 40 USB Tape Drive
A dependable entry-level backup solution for smaller servers and
workstations. This DDS-4 tape drive stores 40 GB of compressed data 
on a
single cartridge at a rate of 23GB/hr (assuming 2:1 data compression),
providing an ideal balance between capacity and performance. 



New> HP StorageWorks DAT 72 USB Tape Drive
Provides an optimum balance of dependable backup capacity and low 
cost
of ownership for small and medium businesses, remote offices, and
workgroups. The DAT 72 delivers a capacity of 72 GB on a single data
cartridge and a transfer rate of 23GB/hr (assuming a 2:1 compression
ratio). The native USB 2.0 interface provides universal plug-and-play
connectivity and quick setup. 



New> McDATA 4Gb SAN Switch for HP p-Class BladeSystem
The newest member of the M series family of Fibre Channel switches
available from HP delivers new technology for customers connecting HP
BladeSystems to Fibre Channel Storage Area Networks (SAN). With the
introduction of the new McDATA 4Gb SAN Switch, IT managers now 
have the
capability to consolidate multiple HP servers, Fibre Channel switches,
and Ethernet switches into a single platform for connectivity to the
networked infrastructure. This integration of technology results in
space and cost savings due to a reduction of physical components 
raising
the reliability of the entire system. Time to deployment is drastically
reduced as server interconnects are made once the McDATA 4Gb SAN 
Switch
is plugged into the HP BladeSystem chassis. 


New> HP ProLiant ML350 G4p Storage Server
A powerful network attached storage (NAS) solution that has been
designed for the small to medium business (SMB) or remote offices
deploying file, print, and/or an Exchange environment. The versatile

high reliability. In addition the ML350 G4p can be optionally equipped
with a second processor to improve performance, and redundant power
