HP has recently released a new set of Transition Modules to assist its
OpenVMS customers with the transition of their VAX systems to Integrity
servers. Transition Modules are a collection of information that
includes white papers, porting guides, advice packages, software tools,
and other valuable documents focused on a specific transition activity -
such as database migration, platform migration, custom code migration
and packaged application (ISV) migration.   

In addition, an update to the OpenVMS AlphaServer to OpenVMS 
Integrity
server Transition Modules is also available. Version 1.1 now includes a
database module for RDB and Oracle.

running OpenVMS.  HP C++ V7.2 features 64-bit pointers.  
Documentation
may be found in the release notes file, SYS$HELP:CXX.RELEASE_NOTES,
section 2.1 64-bit Pointer Support.  This is the "sanity" kit that will
be submitted to manufacturing on May 1st.
