http://h71000.www7.hp.com/openvms/products/ips/apache/csws_php.html.

2.3 OpenVMS Storage

2.3.1. MDS600 for Integrity c-class Blades

The HP StorageWorks 600 Modular Disk System (MDS600) is now supported on OpenVMS 8.3-1H1 on HP Blade Systems running within the rack. The MDS enclosure allows you to easily provision drives that appear as local storage for each blade server by a process known as ‘zoning’. Up to six MDS600 storage devices can be supported off a single Blade System enclosure for up to 420 TB of capacity.

This MDS 600 SAS solution with zoning has therefore the following advantages:

• Good performance at low latency without the complexity of a SAN infrastructure

• Simplicity with faster deployments

• Easier management of the data on the storage device

• Tiered storage options where non-mission critical or tier II data can be stored

2.3.2 MSA 70-MI SAS cluster with OpenVMS - Golden Egg

The latest 'Golden Egg' is now available for OpenVMS and StorageWorks customers at, http://goldeneggs.spyderbyte.com/geggs/GE-HP-MSA70-OVMSa.pdf . This is a hardware system configuration diagram for the MSA 60/70 in both the shared SAS cluster and Dual Domain configurations for HP OpenVMS 8.3-1H1 on Integrity Systems.

2.3.3 ABS Data Sheet

The new ABS Data Sheet may be found at http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA2-5722ENW.pdf at a glance, it gives you a clear understanding of the product’s key features and what’s the latest with this backup and archiving storage product.
